It's a fact: The best way to prove a product works isn't to test it in some lab or office complex, but out in the real world. So we decided to take one for the team and do a little tailgating out in a parking lot at Chrysler Group LLC headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Like any well-constructed experiment, this one had a hypothesis: Chrysler has the best tailgating vehicles in the country. After all, Kelley Blue Book recently named the Dodge Grand Caravan and Dodge Caliber two of the top-ten best tailgating vehicles for 2009. Chrysler Group LLC executives Ben Winter (University of Michigan graduate) and Dan Knott (Michigan State University grad) highlight some of the great tailgating features of both vehicles to prove it. We shot this just a couple days after MSU beat UM for the second time in in as many years.
Fortunately, a few hot dogs and chips always help ease raw post-game rivalries ... Yeah, it was a tough assignment alright.
