Update: Since we posted the interview we did with up and coming hip hop star Kacey Chrysler, it's received a lot of attention, including more than 3 million views on VladTV.com. Thought you'd like to know more about Kacey, who he is, and why he's such a huge fan of Chrysler Group LLC and its brands. So I asked him to write a short piece. He did so, in third person. Who is Kacey Chrysler? One of the most talked about recording artist and radio personalities that was raised in Brooklyn New York. According to the legends & pioneers of the industry such as Video Music Box founder Uncle Ralph McDaniel’s and Hot 97’s Big Dawg Pit-bull DJ Jazzy Joyce, he is the Future of Entertainment but it’s starting to look like his time is now. He is a 22 year old New York City bred rising multifaceted superstar whom initially debuted at The World Famous Apollo Theater.

Kacey has made it clear that he is a dedicated supporter of Chrysler Group LLC whom says that Chrysler is an extremely powerful American automaker which manufactures some of the hottest quality cars on market today. Some of his favorite cars include the Chrysler 300 C, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Charger, and the new Ram heavy duty pickup truck which recently won the 2010 Motor Trend Truck of the Year Award. Kacey says Chrysler should be awarded simply because they maintain all of their brands at highest level and construct them with the sleekest design along with including top of the line technology. Also he states that what makes Chrysler’s so attractive to him is that they look expensive enough to park beside a Rolls Royce Phantom, but is very affordable and within the price range of the average consumer. With that being said, Kacey plans on getting a new Chrysler and recommends that the world does the same!

Several months ago we started receiving messages through Twitter by a personality with the handle, in all caps, KACEY CHRYSLER. At first I thought it was a dealership (we're so parochial at times)but quickly learned KACEY CHRYSLER is a smart, talented, knowledgeable Internet radio personality/rapper who just happens to be an ardent supporter of Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Dodge, and I was happy to accept his invite to chat with him on his show. We finally met in person last week at the New York International Auto Show and had another great conversation. KACEY'S interview style is a major departure from what we're used to in the Motor City, but he knows his stuff. KACEY edited some excerpts from our two convos and we've posted it here.
