When I'm asked, I tell people I'm from Detroit. While I don't live in the city limits, I live close enough that I want to be identified by Detroit and its heritage of hard working people and cultural diversity.
So when the Chrysler Group coined the term "Imported from Detroit," I got it. I didn't even work for the automaker at the time. I was working at the Detroit ABC affiliate as a TV News Producer. Every year, the Spring Festival of LXs celebrates fans of the Chrysler LX platform. Vehicles built on the LX platform include the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Challenger and Magnum. Chrysler Group LLC has reached another milestone, extending our streak of year-over-year sales gains to 36-consecutive months. The Company also had its best monthly sales since December 2007.
