I ran into D’Andre Ellis yesterday at Chrysler Group’s Belvidere (Ill.) Assembly Plant where he’s been working in the paint shop for the past week and three days. The 21 year-old from Detroit had a pretty amazing story to tell. With a wide smile and an upbeat attitude, he told me how, since 11th grade, he slept on couches in the homes of various relatives.
