Hi, O.K, now I am confused !!! Is it a Ram brand or a Dodge Ram brand? Chrysler mentioned they appointed Fred Diaz Jr.as president and CEO of the DODGE Ram brand,then if its still a Dodge why are people saying its not a Dodge anymore?Just Ram... but yet Chrysler says a DODGE RAM Brand....Come on please !! Clear this up for me..I am not a complete fool,I own a small,little company but even my well educated friends cant figure this one out !! I really want to know if my Chevy truck buddy is going to laugh at me because I have a Dodge sticker on the back window of my Ram..Or do I have a Ram sticker on my Dodge or a Ram sticker on my Ram or a Dodge sticker on a Dodge..?..Help me..I think Dodge or whatever it is called or formally known as should build ambulances because I think I need to be committed to a Hospital with padded walls..bad for you guys then I wont be able to buy a 2010 truck !!! At least tell me this I heard they may have a Challenger style hood scoop on the 1500 Sport ? At least is that true? Or false..?.. Please dont say the Changer is going to have a Ram style hood and the Ram is going to have a Ram style hood..?(Yeah thats how confused I am about this Dodge Ram brand or Ram brand)
Can understand the confusion. Here's a quick translation: Dodge Ram: brand for light and heavy duty pickups Dodge Car: brand for passenger cars and minivans Hope that clears it up.
All I can say is the truck better be a Dodge,with a Dodge nameplate on it. You do not want to alienate loyal Dodge buyers.. Alot of Dodge guy's dont really like the Ram name..It's o.k for a model not a brand .. Ever notice how many people remove the Ram name on their trucks..?..Lots do,they dont really care for the Ram name on its own..Dodge is what Dodge truck buyer's like..ram is an after thought... Now, if it is a Dodge Ram brand with Dodge Ram trucks and marked Dodge on it still ...Great ..Good idea... but if its only considered a Ram and not associated with Dodge ,bad,bad idea.....I am not the lone person who feels this way,remember I am in a Mopar club,and we dont just buy old ones,we drive new as well..lots of Dodge trucks...lots....it may sound strange but it leaves a very bad taste in our mouths not to have a Dodge truck,though its a Mopar (ram) without the Dodge name most wont buy one..Would be scared Ram brand would be sold off down the road..but all would be saved if its a Dodge Ram...Thats it ,Have Good Day..

PT cruiser, it's the only small vehicle sold that can have 3 levels of storage in the back if two racks/shelf were made available. Chrysler needs to offer another rack that has folding 2" sides to hold in goceries. It would be a good selling point. If only it could also get a penstar V-6 2.6L MDS - 3.0L MDS for better fuel mileage and acceptable power & torque over the current 2.4L. As for Ram for trucks & vans and Dodge cars. What ever makes you happy. I do not see the point of it. Ram's will use the same 5.7L hemi & 3.6L MDS motors as the cars. I still think there should have been a 4.0L-4.8L V-8 MDS to bridge the gap.
Once again I am not the only person to say Ram on its own is NOT A GOOD IDEA !!! The people I know,even when I read other blogs,people do not see a point in seperating Dodge from Ram...I guess you want the Ram to sink like the Dakota,Sprinter..I guess they want those sales numbers...then the ram brand is a good idea.. KEEP DODGE TRUCKS...CALL THEM DODGE RAM.... I wont buy a ram..but will buy a Dodge ram...I cannot be any clearer..I am not alone...
