Where in the world is the 2017 Jeep Compass?

The all-new 2017 Jeep Compass took center stage at AutomobilityLA on Thursday, November 17, packed with plenty of exciting features, wrapped in premium styling, and sporting the Jeep brand’s largest global footprint to date.

The brand’s newest compact SUV will roll off assembly lines in in Brazil, China, Mexico and India, heading for more than 100 countries around the world where demand in this segment continues to ramp up.

“Our all-new 2017 Jeep Compass enters an extremely important and growing segment worldwide with an unmatched list of attributes,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global.

Here’s just a taste of what Jeep Compass brings to the compact-SUV segment:

  • 17 fuel-efficient global powertrain options.
  • Choice of three transmissions, including the class-exclusive nine-speed automatic for 4×4 models.
  • More than 70 available advanced safety and security features.

Hi, I’m Betty Carrier Newman. I know – three names! Just who does she think she is? I’m a native Michigander; therefore, I love all things outdoors, like hiking and off-roading. I work in Communications with the Digital Media team. Some days I produce video shoots, write scripts, voice and edit video for features to post to our corporate and social media sites. Other times I’m strategizing with the brands I support – Ram, Jeep and Corporate – to come up with attention-grabbing ways to tell their unique stories. Then there’s the travel - to places like Moab, Utah, and the Rubicon Trail in California - to shoot (and enjoy) awesome off-road adventure that I then turn into exciting videos to post on our sites. Routine? Definitely not in my world! Challenges, creativity, cool cars and trucks, exciting places – yeah, they’re in there! Oh, the three names?
